Why do you personally support the Swiss Cyber Defence DNA Initiative?
Cyber incidents now represent the greatest business risk for Swiss companies of all sizes. Nevertheless, many SMEs still do not protect their IT sufficiently. We want SMEs to be able to concentrate on their core business and not have to worry about IT security. We support the initiative because it takes this goal into account.
Where does your company offer added value in relation to the six measures?
Swisscom offers solutions for SMEs to protect IT infrastructure, data and network. In the event of an attack, our services enable you to quickly restore your data and systems. We thus offer added value in relation to all six security measures of the initiative. In addition, we have a Switzerland-wide network of certified partners who support SMEs in the selection, implementation and operation of these solutions.
What do you want from the SME customer?
Be curious and open to market and digitalisation trends and take advantage of the opportunities they present. At the same time, be aware of the risks and protect your IT accordingly. We recommend that SMEs regularly assess their IT security, as new security issues can arise with the introduction of new applications and ways of working.
